How Can I Help?

I can help you better understand the challenges you are facing and help couples and families communicate in more effective ways. Sessions can be conducted in person in Fremantle, Western Australia, or online via Zoom.

My ongoing professional development, experience and training is focussed on working with couples and families and the relationships between them (including support for non-monogamous relationships).

Couples and Non-Conventional Relationships

We can work together to improve your relationship by building friendship, intimacy and trust. This also includes working with adults in non-conventional relationships (e.g. non-monogamy, open-relationships, polyamory) and those aiming to overcome trauma such as infidelity. Relationship therapy can help you learn more effective communication techniques and build a stronger bond over time.

Families

When more than one client is in the room, I can help families express their needs, desires and concerns in an open way and help to develop successful communication skills. This sometimes involves working with family members separately or together in the one session.

Adults & Adolescents

The counselling relationship provides a non-judgemental and supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. One-on-one sessions can be a valuable tool for you to explore any mental health concerns and evaluate your current circumstances.

I also have professional skills and experience guiding and supporting adolescents with a range of anxiety and social concerns.

Parents & Children

Through my professional and personal experience as an early childhood teacher, a family counsellor and a parent of 3, I have also developed a passion for helping heal parent/child relationships. This can include working solely with parents, or the parent/s and child. I can provide support for parents to navigate the important and complex parenting journey from a place of cooperation and understanding of each others’ parenting styles and goals and the needs of the child.
